No Routes for Cattle in Benue – Governor claims

State Governor Benue Samuel Orth said on Thursday that there are no routes for livestock in the state.

Orta, in a statement given to journalists in Makurdi by his special adviser on media and ICT issues, Tahav Agerzua, noted that he spoke at the NCCT church in Buruku, talking with officials of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) to re-elect the local government campaign.

According to the statement, the governor responded to the television comments of President Muhammad Bukhari on this issue.

He said that in general, the president’s speech was shameful and a confirmation that his wife had stated that, having lost control, the clique took responsibility.

The statement further stated that even if there were such routes that were published, he would have unloaded them, since the current population of the state made such routes insolvent.

“Governor Ort said that at the time when such routes were considered in the sixties, the entire population of the country was about 40 million, and the current population was about 200 million, which excluded the possibility of such routes.

“He stated that he struggled and overcame financial, social flaws, as well as security problems during his first term, which adversely affected his work, adding that if he was given a second mandate, the end of his administration would be better than his a rough start, ”the statement reads. added.
